Guide To Corporate Presentations.
Now this is a tricky one, isn’t it? I mean, you know your work inside out, you know what works, what doesn’t, what’s good, what’s bad. But for some reason there’s a disconnect between what you know in your head and what you can effectively present to a room full of watchful eyes.
What’s the best tone to approach? Should you make jokes? Should you avoid eye contact, or death-stare every member of the board who are burning a hole in your skull from their own intense glaring? Should you smile? Knit your eyebrows? Raise them?
There’s a lot to think about.
Luckily, it’s nowhere near as intimidating as you probably think it is.
Writing and exhibiting this type of presentation needn’t be a source of anxiety. Like all things, the anticipation and the build-up are always so much worse than the actual event itself.
And why do they feel so scary? Because, we understand, you only have one chance to do it. It can feel quite isolating, knowing that you have one opportunity to write, prepare and present something, all by yourself, in front of people who can possibly have some sway over your career.
There’s a lot to think about.
So… don’t do it alone!
Nothing is better for creativity, conciseness, consistency and confidence than working alongside a professional with years of experience who can offer guidance, build on your ideas, find the perfect wording and help develop your presentation into something that will give the biggest impact possible.
